Is NASA really a waste of money?
Is NASA a waste of money and Questions that will really make you wonder whether NASA’s projects and programs are beneficial.
So…‘Why should we spend money on NASA for them to travel outer-space when we already have millions of problems down here’ How would they answer?. These are just one of the many questions people wonder about regarding NASA but there are more millions of other questions and queries people don’t or won’t know how to answer?
Well, in my opinion, I think we should spend money to NASA cause in the USA, the 100% of the budget, 16% goes to the army, 60% goes to social workers and scientist and 24.05% goes to healthcare keeping this into perspective NASA only gets 0.5% of that foundation, which is very less matched to other countries.
We can tell that by seeing why NASA only launches rockets every 4 or 5 years while the average of other countries in 3 to 5 years we might think that’s not a big difference but if u count the total days and in percentage, there is a big difference. Still not believed here are 6 reasons why NASA isn’t a waste of money:
1.Improves life on earth
NASA improves life on earth by using satellites, once they built a 900 million satellite that goes around the whole world that checks wheater conditions droughts and even crops because crops are the vital things needed for survival and this satellite can go around the whole world in a week. This satellite can fix a country like Africa, they are poor and needed for special health but get this in 900 million u can’t even feed entire Africa for 900 million so it’s better to build a satellite that keeps track of crops and to predict storms. So you choose to feed the whole of Africa for less than 1 day or build a satellite to make a sustainable life and predict drought and cyclones.
2.Protection from outside invaders (Asteroid impact and information on alien life)
There’s already a company that in 2022 they will make a space ship crash into a net which they say can hold Pluto and if you think of it you would think that Pluto is so big it’s impossible but taking that into size Pluto is the size of America and half of Greenland the only thing that matters is its thickness. This is also a great height they are going to reach, and NASA is a part of it. They’re protecting our earth because millions of years ago a meteorite that hit earth is the reason why how the dinosaurs got extinct and if something like this happens again we can predict where it might hit the x and y coordinates and how we can stop it so this plays an important role in protecting our kind.
3.Resources
Soon we might rely on other planets for resources or we fear the rise on the population as there will be a fight for resources and the solution is very simple 2 ideas that come from the NASAs JPL or jet propulsion lab which the first one is moving on into the galaxy and conquer planets to live there. The next idea is finding more resources and that could be mining asteroids, going to planets, and find a cure to global warming like helium 2 which is common in the moon and finding and taking all of this from the moon can power the whole earth for more than a decade even antimatter which is the nemesis of matter can be found.
4.As in protecting the earth from disasters
We already know about Africa and that a 900 million dollar satellite can help the entire world in a week. which also could improve life and the population doesn’t go through a breakdown. NASA also is deciding that in 2032 they might make a colony on Mars and a year later they might send actual people.it’s
5.Offshoot technology (discoveries)
While NASA is heading the right way they might find other discoveries that might change the world and its a vital role as in NASA already proves that they are capable of anything u will see in the next point.
6.Exploration and Imagination
This is the picture Hubble deep Space Telescope took this picture has a thousand meanings as in this was just taken in a patch of sky and the most wonderful thing about this is that know scientists know how far and knows that the universe is an expanding universe and people thought that Hubble space telescope would never useful but now people rely on Hubble Space Telescope and if you imagine just right you’re creativity can change the universe. Exploration and imagination are vast I mean infinite and sometimes our creativity can change this universe. So the overall economy can be saved we can get Africa working or any other poverty country finds new technologies while traveling to space and most importantly Our Imagination.
